I received a copy of this book from the author for an honest review.
I was patiently awaiting part 2!!! And all I have to say is NO, NO, NO!!!!! That cliffhanger!!!!! Now I'm on pins and needles again!! I need the ending now!!!

Short but so good!

And it is short, way too short. Stopping at seventy three percent of a novella-sized read, this story had me swiping forward in disappointment! I knew this was a serial, I knew this was only the second of three parts, but I want – need - more Jackson and Tina… NOW!
These two had a complicated history and after ten years of no contact, the reasons why they separated have not changed. What also hasn’t changed is their fascination with each other.
“Where was the girl I grew up with? What the heck happened to her?”
Tina was determined to show Jackson that she was no longer the girl he knew and she was not in love with him. She wasn’t. Not at all. Yes, she keeps trying to tell herself that… Bringing her best friend Chris along to support her, to be a buffer, was going to be the best thing. Yes, Tina was living in a dream world… And she couldn’t help but poke the bear as she realizes her feelings haven’t changed…
Told from alternating points of view, the wedding weekend is proving to be difficult for both of them. If that means the heat is inching to scorching, then difficulty is the perfect word. You can feel the tension between the two and soon others are going to be drawn into what was, up until now, a very private battle between them.
“Most women did exactly as I said and took any kind of s**t I gave them. Tiny was really p**sing me off.”
When push comes to shove and both Tina and Jackson’s emotions explode, the problems they are dealing with are just going to get more complicated… and entertaining!

This book has a fantastic storyline!. The characters are amazing.
Jackson and Tina have had feelings for each other for years. On Tina's eighteen birthday Jackson made love to her, and he was her first. Then he ups and takes off before she woke up!.
Now her brother Tim is getting married ,and him and his finance want both Jackson and Tina in the wedding group.
When the two meet up at the family dinner Tim' s finance is trying to hook Jackson up with her best friend. Tina does not have a boyfriend so she had ask her Gay best friend Chris to go with her. When Tina sees Jackson's hand on the other woman's back she introduces Chris as her boyfriend lol. Jackson is so jealous he can not see straight. He is still in love with Tina only he had made a promise to Tim he would stay away from her!. Tina is still in love with Jackson only she is still hurt by what he done years before. Wait till you read what happens at the reception between these two!. ( oh my)!. You will love love this sweet, touching and intense Romance!.
