The compassion of the human spirit is a miracle in itself. For the adult child of an alcoholic who has never experienced safety, comfort or nurture of what most define as home it is reasonable it would be challenging to create that which has never been modeled. Dignity, nobility, and decency creates honor. These are stories of honor from the hearts of those with no-where to live.

Michael Williams inspires me to look at people from a place of curiousity rather than judgment. Who are they really? What was their life? There for the grace of God go I. What do we all have in common? Simple things that are basic human desires. A desire to have a connection, to have shelter, to have food in our belly and to have love. He has in his writing touched me in a profound way. I will never experience the world in the same way . Thank you Michael Williams

I love this book and yes Michael sure can teach me a few lessons...from his experiences from his previous book and this one, so heart felt and reminds you of how we can be so judging of others and yes as one review put it" there for the Grace of Creator go I."... Michael teaches me how to see, speak and feel in a way I never realized was in myself..it's all about the perspective, .thank you Michael
