I Need book two like NOW!!!!

When I read His Secret Muse: An Alpha Billionaire Romance there was a lot of mention of Silent Daughter which was written by the MC Cedric, then I heard that Stella Noir and Linnea May were writing it I could wait for it to be released and when I was given the opportunity to receive an ARC of it I was thrilled. I wanted to see and understand what all the talk was about and I am so happy that it was much, much more then I thought it would be.
Liz is the black sheep in the family, she is the youngest of three sisters and her parents had hoped she would be a boy...maybe that is why they are so distant when it comes to her. She also didn't go to an IVY league school like her sisters and parents had she decided to go a college that her parents didn't think was anything special. Her sisters are married/engaged to men that her parents both adore. But Liz is the quiet, strange sister that keeps her distance from everyone and doesn't speak much. OH and did I mention that she is KINKY! I wonder what her sisters would say about that. She is PERFECT for Leonard. He knows that the instant he notices the rope burns around her ankles....now he just needs to make her his.
This book leaves you with a cliffhanger but the second one is due out soon. This was an AMAZING beginning to the story of Liz and Leonard.

1st of 3 parts of a dark, erotic romance.

Read this book through kindle unlimited.
Hmm, I wasn't sure if I'd like this book. It seems I usually either really love or hate the book when I read dark erotic romances. I LIKED the book- but I wouldn't say LOVE. I may have rated this closer to 4 stars but for a couple reasons. First, the book needs a better editor to read through it. It wasn't terrible but it was distracting at times. Also, I really don't like how authors separate one regular size book into parts when frankly there's no need except possibly financially for the author. I will say though that I appreciate the author does let everyone know in amazon's description that the books are part of a cliffhanger/installment series. I also appreciate that the overall cost for the series is reasonable (currently $0.99 each or $2.98 for the three part series which combined is around 250-300 pgs).
This book is written in first person and alternates between the hero and heroines' Pov. It's a little hard to make a comment and describe this book when you only get the first 1/3 of the story. So far I like the story and I'm intrigued. It's hard to know though whether I'll like the full book. I'm going to keep reading particularly because I'm a kindle unlimited member and can read the books through it for "free". Heat level is 9 (1=Christian, 5=fade to block and 10=pure erotica). I imagine the book will be closer to 9.5 in the next book.

Well edited, unoriginal, and in need of more meat on its bones

This should probably have been published as a full book. What we have is the scene setting for a capture fantasy and little else. Leonard is not fully developed - so he comes off as a borderline sociopath. Liz seems to be an upper crust Goth girl who comes from the stereotypical caricature of old money, with parents who only can relate to the kids that follow their same pathway. I found it distracting that the author went on in the first 4 chapters repeatedly about where she went to school - both Brown and Yale are private, liberal arts colleges, just like Williams. Williams is much smaller, but just as elite. No parent who had a child who went there would be disappointed. Overall, this book is not unlike many that has come before it - dark billionaire capture fantasy parsed out over three installments when it should have been one book. I hope the next one has more substance.
