David Lane, Ph.D., Rice University Dr. David Lane is a Professor of Psychology at Rice University. Dr. Lane's professional area of interest includes Human-Computer Interaction/Educational technology, and Statistics and Experimental Design. Professor Lane's scholarly activities include numerous publications and over 60 articles including The Journal of Educational Computing, Behavior Research Methods Instrumentation and Computers, Journal of Experimental Psychology, Journal of Applied Psychology to name a few. Dr. Lane received his B.A. from Clark University, his M.A. from Tufts University and his Ph.D. from Tulane University.

Snow White as Nazi

This is a fairly bizarre e-pamphlet, published by the associates of the late David Lane, a White supremacist and Odinist Neo-Pagan. The text itself is a translation of “Die Stimme der Ahnen. Eine Dichtung”, published in Germany in 1933 by Nazi sympathizer Wulf Sörensen (real name Frithjof Fischer). For some reason, many neo-Nazis attribute the “poem” to Heinrich Himmler. This is somewhat ironic, since Fischer was at one point arrested for insulting Himmler!
Fischer's anti-Semitic screed isn't particularly interesting. He attacks Christianity, principally Roman Catholicism, which he connects to Judaism. The virtues of the ancient Goths and Saxons are extolled. We are told that the Nordic-Aryan pagan spirit must be revived. The fairytale of Snow White is reinterpreted in a Nazi-pagan fashion, with the evil queen symbolizing the Roman Church, while the dwarfs are the spirits of the Folk.
The e-book contains a portrait of Himmler, one of Lane, and various heroic or mystical Aryan motifs. Ironically, given Fischer's attack on Christianity, it also contains two *Christian* pictures, one of the Knights Templar and another of St George slaying the dragon. Presumably, the confused editor didn't know that these motifs are Judeo-Roman, or didn't care…

Fairy Tale Role in Shamanic Interaction of The Past, Present, and Future

The Author in a 400 or so word tight English translation, makes good use of the fairy-tale "Snow White" in his narrative, which re-iterates what many authors before and since have made, namely making the point that fairy-tales contain behavior modifying messages, concerning certain behavior having likely positive or negative outcomes, therefore, act as teaching aids for both young and old. I was left with a Shamanic message that:- One can, by embracing the knowledge and wisdom of the Ancestors as a personal past coupled with the existential "here and now" of the present, through correct action become a master of ones Future, as an expression of destiny.
