VOLATILE EVAN AND RUSSELL WALKING A DELICATE LINE NOT TO UPSET THE CREW'S BALANCE

The absolute best of the series so far. Russell is the unknown element in the Jade Crew. He tries to walk a fine line between Evan the old alpha and Garrett the new alpha. He has never fully supported Garrett and yet he will not side against him either. Evan is pushing hard for Russell to join him in ousting Garrett.
Russell is drawn to Emma's best friend Gwen Revere who has just lost both of her parents and has moved to Genesis Valley to be near her only friend and the closest thing she has to family now. Russell know's she's his mate but he doesn't want to upset the crew's very delicate balance. He know that Evan is volatile and would perceive them together as his supporting Garrett. It's a hot mess and in addition to that he has a really big Secret that could put the finishing touches on the situation.
Read and find out how this one plays out. It's a really page turner and one I never suspected.

Another great story!

I am totally loving this series! We get Russell the strong, sexy werebear and Gwen the independent, feisty human female this time. Their back stories, secrets and emotional baggage almost does them in, but it just made their HEA that much better! I can't wait for the next one! I received a copy in exchange for an honest review. Recommended!

AN ABSOLUTELY AMAZING BOOK!!!!!

Amelia did it again. She produced an amazing 3rd book in the "Jade Crew Series." The story-line is awesome and the plot was intriguing. The characters are unique.
Russell was having a drink. When a new group of sifters entered the bar. No one he knew. The group whom I have dubbed the rude crew was yelling at Ferro for pitchers of beer and to hop on it. Neither Russell and Ajax was happy about what they felt about the group.
Ajax stood and told them sternly that they were to show some respect for Ferro. Ferro growled No bears! No fighting! So Ajax settled back down and relaxed. The Tongue and Flame was home to the shifter crews and wanted no one to disrespect their home not Ferro.
When the door opened again Gabriel came in and asked if Emma LaBelle was here. Russell said he hadn't seen her yet. Gabriel thanked him. Gabriel Thanked him again when he brought him a terrific bear from Ferro. Gabriel was a stone bear from the MLC and was quite large and train extensively in combat as human and bear. That was probably the reason he seated himself between the two groups. The rude crew were looking at Emma with hunger in their eyes as Emma walked into the bar.
Emma said hello and thanked Gabriel for his time. Gabriel said that when a Liaison from the Mining Consortium asks for my time I give it. Following Emma in was her BFF Gwen. As Gwen entered the bar all of the rude crew stood up and yelled that they could give Emma a better time that Gabriel and told Gwen the pretty lady could come over there for a good time. Gwen was used to that so she made a retching motion and walked over to Emma.
When Russell saw Gwen is mouth stopped working and he thought she was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen and with the most striking green eyes. Suddenly Ferro slammed his hands down on the bar and it banged. It startled everyone quite. Ferro said no bears! no fighting!
Gwen froze and Ajax said that we treat women with respect. Good for you came from one of the rude crew. Emma asked who are you. We'll you can call us the Opal crew. Really said Emma, interesting. Emma grabbed her phone and called the LMC, while Emma was talking to them Gwen was flirting with Russell and he with her.
Okay Emma said LMC said you were an actual mining crew. We could have told you that pretty lady while twitching his eyebrows. Emma growled "stop that" you look like an imbecile. That being said you are no longer welcome at tongue and Flame. You are to leave right now!
According to who? Spat the leader of the rude crew. According to me snarled back at them. You heard the lady Russell called. .Ajax was standing in front of Emma with his crew. Russell grabbed Gwen around the waist pulled her back to the bar and started towards Emma. Gwen didn't take time to walk around the bar and just hopped over it. Ferro grabbed her arm and pulled her behind him
One of the rude crew walked up to Emma and said I'll leave anytime I want to. Ajax pulled back his fist and slugged the guy in his nose breaking it. Russell yelled back to Ferro and apologized for any damage. Ferro didn't care about that he, only said don't get to many dead. Gwen asked why are they going to get killed? Ferro just reached behind then and opened a door and pulled Gwen through it, as the first growl drowned out his answer.
This is ridiculous. Something about the way the new crew was acting. Something had them clearly antagonized them to the point of looking for a fight. They couldn't be so stupid as to think they could get away with it. There are humans here. The rude crew would face the brunt of any punishment.
Emma was here as Liaison for LMC. She could dispense justice right on the spot if she had to. HEY! Russell yelled out as Emma cried out in pain. He saw a shifter backhanded her before she went to the floor. Gabriel made his move. The stone bear stepped into the confrontation only when Emma was in danger. He grabbed the man, broke his leg and the wrapped it around his neck and pulled until it snapped. He dropped the guy and scooped up Emma. A human had been hurt and a liaison for the LMC. Ending would soon be ensued.
Pick up a copy of this incredible book. The fight is far from over.
