Good work on Gangs

This book, while being a textbook is none the less very interesting. The authors manage to avoid the very dry presentation that seems so common in textbooks/research works today. Of particular interest to me was the history of the gangs. The book is well laid out and a MUST for those who want to either work in gang research, learn more about gangs, or teach classes about gangs.

Very well written. This book gives an excellent insight to how gangs started and how they have evolved. The authors did a great job in documenting and presenting details on gangs. I would recommend this book for anybody interested in gangs or that is pursuing a degree and/or career in Criminal Justice.
